Product Description
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is the long-awaited true sequel to the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy, developed by Toys for Bob and published by Activision for Nintendo Switch. Set after the events of Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, Neo Cortex and N. Tropy have escaped their dimensional prison and are threatening to take over not just one world — but every world across the multiverse. Armed with powerful Quantum Masks that bend the laws of reality, Crash and Coco must race across dimensions to stop them in the most ambitious and content-rich Crash Bandicoot game ever made.
Quantum Masks — Reality-Bending Powers
The game's defining new mechanic is the four Quantum Masks — ancient, powerful beings that grant Crash and Coco extraordinary abilities to manipulate reality. Lani-Loli phases objects in and out of existence, Akano grants a powerful Dark Matter Spin, Kupuna-Wa slows time to a crawl, and Ika-Ika flips gravity upside down. Each mask fundamentally transforms how you interact with the level, creating some of the most inventive and visually spectacular platforming sequences in the series' history.
Massive Content & Multiple Playable Characters
Crash Bandicoot 4 is the largest game in the series by far — featuring over 100 levels across multiple dimensions, with hundreds of hidden gems, crates, and collectibles to find. Play as Crash and Coco with their full move sets, and unlock additional playable characters including Neo Cortex, Dingodile, and Tawna — each with their own unique abilities and alternate story perspectives that add hours of additional content.
Two Game Modes for All Skill Levels
Crash 4 offers two distinct play modes — Retro Mode plays like the classic Crash games with a limited number of lives, while Modern Mode provides unlimited lives for a more accessible experience. Both modes offer the same levels and content, ensuring every player can experience the full game regardless of skill level.
4-Player Local Multiplayer
Crash Bandicoot 4 includes a Pass N. Play local multiplayer mode — up to 4 players take turns tackling levels, competing for the highest score and best completion rate in a fun and competitive couch gaming experience.
